Subscription Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy outlines the procedures and terms for cancelling your Retireista subscription. We aim to make this process as transparent and straightforward as possible.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel your Retireista Premium subscription at any time by following these steps:
- Self-Service Cancellation:
- Log in to your Retireista account
- Navigate to "Account Settings"
- Select "Subscription"
- Click on "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation
- Email Cancellation:
- Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Subscription Cancellation"
- Include your account email address in the body of the email
- Our support team will process your cancellation request and send confirmation within 2 business days
Cancellation Effects
- When you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to Premium features until the end of your current paid billing period.
- No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of the current billing cycle when you cancel a monthly subscription.
- Annual subscriptions cancelled within 14 days of purchase may be eligible for a prorated refund. See our Refund Policy for details.
- After your paid period ends, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan with reduced features and limitations.
- Saved scenarios exceeding the Free plan limit (2 scenarios) will remain in your account but will be inaccessible until you upgrade again. We retain this data for 90 days before permanent deletion.
Automatic Renewals
Unless you cancel your subscription:
- Monthly subscriptions will automatically renew each month on the same date of your initial subscription.
- Annual subscriptions will automatically renew each year on the anniversary of your subscription date.
- You will be charged the current rate for your subscription plan, which may differ from the rate when you originally subscribed if our pricing has changed.
- We will send you a reminder email before each annual renewal, but not for monthly renewals.
Reactivating Your Subscription
If you decide to reactivate your Premium subscription after cancelling:
- Log in to your account and navigate to "Subscription" under "Account Settings"
- Click on "Upgrade to Premium" and follow the prompts
- Any saved scenarios that were inaccessible during your time on the Free plan will become available again
- The new subscription will be charged at current rates
Account Deletion
Cancelling your subscription is different from deleting your account:
- Subscription cancellation maintains your account with Free plan access
- To completely delete your account and all associated data, please contact [email protected] with the subject "Account Deletion Request"
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
